During the journey, you'll enjoy spectacular views of the Andes Mountains and observe several volcanoes, some active and others extinct: Cotopaxi (active, one of the country's tallest and most iconic volcanoes), Pasochoa (extinct), and Rumiñahui (extinct volcano with an impressive rock formation).

    Visit a Local's House: A visit to Don Julián's house allows you to experience the traditional lifestyle of the Andean inhabitants, at over 3,500 meters above sea level. The presence of the guinea pig is notable, an animal that, according to local beliefs, protects against negative energies. You can also see plantations of Andean tubers, such as potatoes, and other agricultural products.

    Illiniza Ecological Reserve

    The Los Ilinizas Ecological Reserve is a natural area noted for its biodiversity and stunning landscapes. Alternatively, you can take a short hike around the Quilotoa Volcano crater, famous for its emerald-green lagoon and panoramic views.
