What to expect
Meet at the dive center to be fitted with snorkeling equipment and receive a safety briefing and basic instructions. Travel by boat to the snorkeling location and enter the water above the reef to spot tropical fish, rays, moray eels, and sometimes turtles.
The Bay of Santa Maria offers good visibility and rich marine life, including schools of soldier fish, snappers, parrot fish, and trumpet fish. A shallow wreck may sometimes be visible, but this cannot be guaranteed.
Snorkeling takes place in an open marine environment. Weather, sea state, visibility, and wildlife sightings may vary and are beyond the operator’s control. By booking, guests acknowledge the natural and unpredictable nature of the ocean.
Return to the dive center after the tour and enjoy the rest of your day in Santa Maria.
