The Third largest National park in South Africa, Addo was Established in 1931 to protect the last 11 elephants in the region, and has grown into one of South Africa’s most successful conservation areas, supporting 700 elephants, Home to the "Big Five" (elephant, lion, rhino, buffalo, and leopard), and a wide variety of other animals. Experience a diverse range of wildlife in their natural habitat.
Addo has a marine section that protects the endangered penguin, gannets, white shark and southern right whale.
