We begin like locals do - over coffee. No hurry. Just time to take in the atmosphere.
This tour isn’t about rushing from site to site. It’s about slowing down, feeling the city’s rhythm, and seeing how daily life and centuries of history live side by side.
We will walk through spaces where life happens: Diocletian’s Palace, still home after 1,700 years. The Green Market, alive with tradition and conversation. Side streets and corners where real stories unfold—often missed by tourists, but essential to understanding the city.
Along the way, we talk about the people who shaped Split-fishermen, traders, families, and those who resisted change. Every generation left its trace, and Split carries them all.
I will wait at the entrance to the church
The tour will end in front of the statue of Grgur Ninski, a place where wishes do some true (and I will tell you how).
Our meeting point. This is from where our coffee adventure begins. Coffee time is one of the most important moment in a day of a local person
From the Riva waterfront we will enter the antique part of the Palace (where GOT was filmed)
One of the interesting spots in the Palace where you can hear about emperor and modern Split today
Having a great cup of speciality coffee (my favourite spot in town) and a place where I share the local customs and traditions in the production of food, wine and rakija with you is where we end our tour
The main entrance to the Imperial Palace
Visiting the People's Square is highly recommended as it offers a captivating view of the authentic beauty of Split.
