Your tour begins in Mukilteo, just north of Seattle, at the Future of Flight Aviation Center. This is your gateway into the world of modern aerospace, with interactive exhibits that let you test your skills on flight simulators, examine real aircraft engines up close, and learn how engineers solve the challenges of building commercial jets. Large viewing windows and hands-on displays make the exhibits engaging for kids and adults alike, whether you know a lot about planes or nothing at all. Depending on the day's schedule and seat availability, you may also join the Boeing Everett Factory Tour, taking you inside the largest building in the world by volume. Board a guided tram and travel through the working assembly lines where Boeing's wide-body jets, including the 747, 767, 777, and 787 Dreamliner, come together piece by piece. It's a rare, behind-the-scenes look at the scale and precision of modern aircraft manufacturing, and a highlight for most guests who join the tour.
