We will take the subway from Tochō-mae Station to Yoyogi Station, followed by a short walk to Meiji Shrine. Completed in 1920, the shrine honors Emperor Meiji, a pivotal figure in Japan’s modernization during the 19th century. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the tranquil forest surroundings and admire the distinctive Shinto-style architecture.
The journey from Meiji Shrine to Shibuya Station is a short one, taking only a few minutes. Situated in the heart of Shibuya City, one of the 23 wards in Tokyo Metropolis, the station is known for its iconic pedestrian crossing. Just outside Shibuya Station, you'll have the opportunity to capture a photo of the world-famous Hachiko dog monument!
A traditional Daimyo (Samurai Lord’s) garden established in the late 17th century, featuring a central pond, stone lanterns, man-made hills, and seasonal flowers. Enjoy a pleasant stroll around the main pond and take in the serene atmosphere.
We will enjoy a Japanese-style lunch at a local restaurant in Ginza. (Lunch is optional.)
Sensoji Temple is one of the oldest and largest Buddhist temples in Tokyo, with a history dating back to its establishment in 628.
