The tour guide will pick you up at most hotels in central Tokyo. If your hotel is not listed, please let us know, and we might still be able to arrange a pick-up. After being picked up from your hotel in central Tokyo, you'll embark on an exciting ride on Japan's high-speed Shinkansen, also known as the Bullet Train, from Tokyo Station. The journey takes about 80 minutes to a local station called Toyohashi. On a clear day, you might catch a stunning view of Mt. Fuji through the train windows, making the experience even more memorable.
After arriving at Toyohashi Station in Aichi Prefecture, we will transfer to a local train—either the JR Tokaido Line or the Meitetsu Line—to Okazaki, which takes about 20 minutes. From there, we will transfer to another line that takes us to the town where Toyota’s headquarters is located. Let’s enjoy the scenery from the train windows, revealing scenes of everyday life in rural Japan.
Toyota City is a local municipality in Aichi Prefecture. The city was named after the world’s largest automobile company, Toyota. We will walk from the station to Toyota’s headquarters and then visit the Toyota Kaikan Museum, which showcases many of Toyota’s latest vehicles, concept cars, and more. It is truly a paradise for those who love Toyota cars.
It is one of the largest automobile museums in Japan, operated by Toyota. The museum exhibits not only Toyota vehicles, but also cars from all over the world, tracing the history of the automobile from the dawn of the industry to the present day. It also features a library, unique exhibitions on automotive history and car culture, and a museum shop. This is truly a paradise for all car enthusiasts.
After enjoying our visit to the Toyota Automobile Museum, we will take local trains to Nagoya, one of the largest cities in Japan. From there, we will catch a bullet train bound for Tokyo. The journey to Tokyo Station takes approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes. After arriving at Tokyo Station, the guide will escort you back to your hotel in Tokyo.
