Every departure includes your own licensed English-speaking guide plus a private vehicle and driver – only your group. Price per person drops as your group grows (1–8 travellers). A private 4-day trip into Svaneti, Georgia’s highest inhabited region, famous for medieval defensive towers listed by UNESCO. Start in Kutaisi or Batumi and drive the scenic road past the Enguri dam to Mestia (about 1,500 m). Spend a full day in Ushguli, one of Europe’s highest permanently inhabited villages (about 2,100 m), below Mount Shkhara (5,193 m), walk to the Chalaadi Glacier and visit the Svaneti Museum and a family tower house. Two nights in Mestia and the return to Kutaisi or Batumi are included; your own driver and vehicle the whole time. Best from June to October; Ushguli’s road can close after heavy snow. Entrance fees are not included.
