This is Georgia’s most scenic self-guided motorcycle tour. No group, no guide—just you, the open road, and a well-prepped dual-sport bike. We provide the bike, gear, suggested routes, and on-call support. You ride at your own pace, stop when you want, and stay where you choose. From the wine country of Kakheti to the alpine peaks of Kazbegi, this route hits Georgia’s best roads and landscapes in just three days. It’s flexible, real, and made for riders who want freedom—with a little backup.
Pick up your motorcycle in Tbilisi and head east toward the scenic Kakheti wine region. On the way, riders have the option to detour through the quiet hill village of Udabno and visit the historic David Gareja Monastery, a unique 6th-century complex carved into sandstone cliffs along the Azerbaijan border. Afterward, continue toward Signagi, Georgia’s romantic hilltop town overlooking the Alazani Valley. Ride winding roads, enjoy the sunset, and explore cobbled streets and local wine cellars.
At the end of the ride, head to Signagi, a picturesque hilltop town known for its charming cobblestone streets, 18th-century city walls, and sweeping views over the Alazani Valley. It’s the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine, explore local shops, or just stroll through town as the sun sets.
Stop at the iconic Friendship Monument, perched high above the Gudauri Valley. Built in 1983, this massive circular viewpoint offers panoramic views of the mountains and a bold Soviet-era mosaic celebrating unity. A great place to stretch your legs, take photos, and remind yourself that you're riding through history
High above Kazbegi sits the stunning Gergeti Trinity Church, a 14th-century monastery built on a hilltop with the towering Mount Kazbek as its backdrop. You can hike or ride up to the church, depending on the weather and your skill level. The views are jaw-dropping, and the atmosphere is peaceful—this is one of Georgia’s most photographed and iconic sites.
Start the day with a final mountain ride—choose either the peaceful alpine village of Juta with views of the Chaukhi range, or go for a raw off-road adventure into Truso Valley, where old watchtowers and wild springs line the dirt road. Afterward, ride south along the legendary Georgian Military Highway, one of the most scenic roads in the Caucasus. Originally built as a military route through the mountains, it now delivers sweeping switchbacks, dramatic cliffs, and panoramic views of the Aragvi River gorge.
As you approach the city, consider taking the route through Tbilisi National Park, a beautiful forested road that winds into the capital and offers a peaceful, shady contrast to the mountain ride. It’s the perfect end to a three-day ride that covers wine country, alpine peaks, and everything in between.
