We will pick all travelers on their arrival to Robe Airport and any hotels in Robe town.
On arrival to Goba airport you will be picked up by our team then drive to Dinsho town where the parks headquarter is located. Afterwards, our hike will take us through park H.Q where we'll get a chance to spot and see some endemic/endangered mammals such as: Menilik’s Buchbuck, Mountain Nyala, Warthog, Reedbuck, Gray Duikers and Baboons. Also Ethiopian endemic birds such as: Black-headed siskin, Wattled Ibis, and Abyssinian cat bird which all will be found in juniper woodlands of Bale Mountains HQ. We'll have breakfast and start our 18-kilometer hike to Sodota Camp. Along the way, we'll witness the stunning scenery of the Wolla and Web rivers, close to Dinsho. These regions are home to various animals such as Ethiopian Wolf, Rock hyrax, and several birds of prey. The natural beauty of the Bale Mountains is renowned beyond Ethiopia's borders. We'll spend the night at the Sodota campsite, situated at an altitude of 3500 meters above sea level.
On this day we'll encounter numerous natural attractions en route. As we pass through the Mararo Valley, we'll have the opportunity to witness eagles nesting alongside the verros. We may also have a chance to encounter the ethiopian wolf and several distinctive bird species. The journey should take about seven hours. We'll spend the night at the Wasema campsite, which is situated at an altitude of 3900 meters above sea level.
As we trek through the region, the local mountain range's formation becomes apparent due to the eruption of a prehistoric super-volcano. Additionally, the ice age played a significant role in shaping Ethiopia's relief.
After breakfast Meet the vehicle at the camp and drive towards Harenna Forest which is the second tropical rain forest in the country. On the way there will be a chance to see the rare and endangered Canid species Ethiopian Wolf, Abyssinian Hare, water birds like Blue winged Goose, Ruddy shell duck, Wattled Crane and others. Then after take a hike in the forest to water fall and Bamboo trail. The endemic Bale Monkey will be seen in the area and numerous bird species. Overnight Tokuma or Similar.
Morning after breakfast you will be transfered to Airport for your flight back to Addis.
