    Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris

    Our guide will accompany you to the famous Notre Dame cathedral from 12th Century which is currently under renovation. The Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Paris, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture, is the most visited monument in France. It was built in the Middle Ages, at the far end of the Île de la Cité. Work started in the 13th century and finished in the 15th century. Badly damaged during the French Revolution, the cathedral was restored in the 19th century by the architect Viollet-le-Duc. Situated on the opposite side of the Seine from the Eiffel Tower, Trocadéro is home to splendid gardens and ornamental ponds and fountains as well as the cultural richness of the Palais de Chaillot, the Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine and the Musée de la Marine.
