    Tarangire National Park

Your safari begins with a scenic drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, a gem in northern Tanzania known for its iconic baobab trees, rolling savannah, and impressive wildlife density. Upon arrival at the park, you'll embark on a guided game drive through its varied landscapes. Tarangire is especially famous for its large elephant herds, which can often be seen near the Tarangire River — the park’s main water source and a magnet for wildlife during the dry season. As you explore, you may encounter lions, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, and numerous antelope species, along with over 400 recorded bird species, making it a haven for bird enthusiasts. With your expert guide leading the way, you'll discover both well-known areas and quieter corners of the park, maximizing wildlife sightings while enjoying the peace of nature. After an enriching afternoon, you’ll exit the park and head to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

    Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, is it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here. Late afternoon, drive back to Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
