  Esplanade Park is a linden park in the historical center of Helsinki in the Kaartinkaupunki district. The park is home to the Espa summer theater. It is also home to one of the oldest restaurants in the Finnish capital. In the center of the park is a monument to the poet Ludvig Runeberg. This monument was created in 1885 by his son Walter. Later monuments to several other writers, such as Topelius, appeared in the park.

  Uspensky Cathedral is an Orthodox church in the Katajanokka district of Helsinki, the cathedral of the Helsinki Metropolitanate of the Finnish Archdiocese of the Archdiocese of Constantinople. It was built in 1868 by architect Alexei Gornostaev in the Russian style and consecrated in honor of the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
