    Alexander Nevsky Cathedral is a stavropegial Orthodox cathedral in Vyshgorod, Tallinn. Since May 1945 it has been under the jurisdiction of the Estonian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate. It was built in 1895-1900 opposite the entrance to the governor's residence on the initiative of the Governor of Estonia S. V. Shakhovsky.

There are 157 steps connecting Toompea hill to the town below, with the stairway coming out in Toompark by Snelli pond.
