What makes NWT unique and exclusive is that our tours are educational and led by a dedicated sommelier. Our guests will learn about the history, legends, and culture of a unique and unspoilt area of the Campania region, famous for its truffles: Irpinia. No public transportation is available in the area, and this is the reason why cultural authenticity is unspoilt and vibrant. Moreover, during the truffle hunt, led by a truffle hunter with truffle dogs, vineyard and winery tour, and lunch, our guests will learn from experts how the truffle hunt unfolds and how wine is paired with truffle-based dishes, how wine defects are identified, as well as about the legends and history connected with the indigenous grape varieties.

Guests will spend the day in what we like to call a Chateau in Irpinia, belonging to the Pepe family, an ancient Irpinian lineage of dedicated wine producers for generations. Their wines have long been produced and marketed throughout Italy and abroad.
