Get ready for a unique adventure on Saona Island! Join us for an experience away from the crowds, where you can explore the underwater world of Catuano's coral reef, relax on the white sandy beach of Playa Dichosa, and admire the splendid natural pool with its giant starfish.
Our excursions are small-scale, and our guide is passionate about what he does, giving explanations all day long.
We've been working with cruise ships for many years now, so we have the necessary experience.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
A driver will be waiting for you at the cab stand outside the La Romana cruise port at 8:00 am. He will check that all participants from the same cruise ship, CARNIVAL cruise, are present, using a list provided by us. The cab will take you directly to our office in Bayahibe, where we will be waiting for you to depart on your excursion.

Transportation will be waiting for you at the taxi stand, at the cruise port exit, where all participants from the same ship as yours will gather. The driver will take you to our office in Bayahibe, the starting point of the excursion.

You will arrive at our office in Bayahibe where you will hace coffee, water, bathroom and we will present your guide for the day. And you will go at our power boat.

aboard our power boat, we'll head for the village of Mano Juan to admire the typical colorful houses and visit a turtle nursery (it's not guaranteed to see 100% of them, depending on the turtle's laying season). We'll then enjoy a delicious Dominican lunch by the beach (lobster is available for an additional $25.USD per person). Our national guide will give you plenty of explanations about the national park and the island of Saona.

In the afternoon, we'll head off to the paradise beach of Canto de la playa to enjoy the turquoise waters and, for those who prefer, snorkel. There's a snack bar right on the beach. Canto de la playa is the island's only unspoilt beach, far from the mass tourism.

We'll then head off to admire the mangroves and nature, with the guide providing information on the eco-system and the fish you'll be able to see.
