As a English-speaking agency, we are used to working with Norwegian SKY cruise passengers, and we exclusively offer this excursion to visit Saona island, the Penon (cliff, mangroves, natural swimming pool) in small group with all the equipment of the snorkeling.

Meeting and pickup
A driver will be waiting for you at the taxi stand, at the exit of the La Romana cruise port at 8:00 am. He will ensure that all participants from the same cruise ship, Norwegian SKY, are present, using a list that we will provide him. And will take you directly to our Bayahibe office, where we will be waiting for you.

The tour will start from Bayahibe village Saona Island is part of the National Park of Cotubanama, let's go! A short stop in front of the Penon where our guide will give you explanations about this cliff and the Taino natives. To continue we will stop at the mangroves to explore them and the nature.

Our first stop on Saona Island will be Catuano Beach. You’ll have about 20 minutes to snorkel in this beautiful spot or just relax and soak up the sun, whichever you prefer.

5Saona Island
Time to go at Saona island where a delicious Dominican lunch will be waiting for you. After the meal, grab your hat and sunscreen for a swim in Saona’s turquoise waters. You’ll have about an hour to enjoy the beach, take amazing photos, or relax by the shore.

Finally, we’ll end on a high note with a visit to the famous natural pool, where you can see large starfish (please don’t touch them). It’s also a perfect time to enjoy a drink in the Caribbean’s crystal-clear waters—a truly magical, unforgettable experience.
