Students take a short boat ride to Prison Island to meet giant tortoises and explore historic ruins, learn about sustainability at Chako Zanzibar Recycling Center, and experience Jambiani Village life through traditional crafts, a local school visit, and a seaweed farm tour. In Nungwi, they swim with turtles at Baraka Natural Aquarium, visit the fish market, and watch traditional dhow building.
Upon arrival at Zanzibar International Airport or Zanzibar Ferry Terminal, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide and driver. A brief orientation will be provided, along with all essential information about your student program in Zanzibar. Our team will also be available to answer any questions you may have.

This guided tour introduces students to Zanzibar’s historic town, known for its blend of Swahili, Arab, Indian, and European influences, visible in its architecture, narrow streets, and everyday life shaped by centuries of cultural exchange. The experience includes visits to the former slave market site, now home to the Anglican Church built in 1871, the lively town market, and the Zanzibar Memorial Museum.
