Begin your full day tour to samosir island, Lake Toba at 6:30 am when you are picked up from the lobby of your accommodation.( please remind your hotel to prepare your breakfast box ) Your driver will escort you to Tigaras Port where the Ferry slow boat will be standing by, ready to transfer you to one of the most beautiful and large lake on north sumatera , Samosir island .and it will take 45 minutes to reach Simanindo Port, samosir Island. On this 45 minute scenic trip you will enjoy the excellent views of the sea.

Once you arrive at port you will continue the Journey to explore samosir island, first you will enjoy the Traditional Batak performance dance at Huta Bolon,Simanindo . Twice daily and once on Sundays, the small museum at Simanindo puts on a traditional dance performance for tourists in front of three towering traditional Batak houses. The performance traverses through 11 different phases associated with the slaughtering of a buffalo, among other things. Although no buffaloes are slaughtered in these performances, a live buffalo is used as local Batak dancers dressed in traditional costume surround the beast and dance. Atop one of the traditional houses sits a troupe of musicians who belt out hypnotic Batak tunes. The whole performance is meant as an introduction to the old ways of the Batak Toba people of which some traditions exist today.

Tuk Tuk Samosir Siadong is a tourist village located on the peninsula of Samosir Island,Indeed, it only takes about two hours to get around Tuk Tuk, see the view of lake toba from this side village . and dont miss to enjoy the local Food in this Village, try Acculturation Batak and Western Cakes. Some that are worth a try are the Tabo Cottages cake menu, try it, you won't regret it.

Once you arrive here you realize that Batak is one of the civilized ethnic. They are not savaged far before it get contact with outside world. Death penalty is recognized here through a fair trial. If you are criminal, your value are the same as beasts. Its a very small place and I nearly walked through it ,You could skip this if you want.If you are into history, the site is interesting artifacts, get to understand culture, tradition and some history.

The Sipisopiso is an impressive waterfall flowing into Lake Toba. From here with a short walk you have beautiful views over the northern part of Lake Toba, the largest Crater Lake in South East Asia.

In Brastagi you can view two active volcanoes, the Sibayak and the Sinabung. Brastagi was around during the colonial times a famous mountain resort because of its pleasant cool climate. Visit the colorful fruit market Brastagi . Brastagi has volcanic fruitful soil which is ideal for growing fruits like passionfruit, mangistan, Solanum Betaceum , oranges and a variety of flowers.

after having lunch , next we heading drive to the traditional village of Lingga Village to see traditional Karo Lingga houses where people still live. In these traditional houses, named Djambur, 8 families occupy one house. Cattle, pigs and water buffaloes live below the house. You can visit a house and see their way of life.

Taman Alam Lumbini, Lumbini Natural Park, Top and most beautiful pagoda in Indonesia located in Berastagi, North Sumatra.
