    Virgin Mary House near Ephesus is the place where she passed the last days of her life. She came here together with St. John the evangelist.     Terrace Houses is located on the skirt of Pion Mountain. There are 6 residential units that were built on three man-made terraces. These houses were settled by wealthy citizens of Ephesus. These houses were very fancy and decorated with wall frescoes and floor mosaics. There are many steps to ascend from bottom to top.
