1Santa Claus Village
Join for a guided tour in witnessing one of the most stunning landscapes in Rovaniemi: Vikaköngäs. About 25km drive all the way to the North from Rovaniemi city to a non-crowded wildness nearby Arctic lakes and forests. This wonderful journey start from crossing a bridge located at Vikaköngäs, where the rapids along the rocks & traditional Lappish Laavu are visible. Stop for some nice photos taken by your guide and after continue trekking from another side of the bridge to a little hike along the forest trails to feel the silence of the nature as well as a bit of stories about what people do there on a seasonal basis while enjoy local berry or fruit tea. Kindly Note: 1h drive & back, 1.5h Sightseeing & photos 1, Remember to bring your camera or smalt phone. 2, Outdoor or hike shoes are good to have. 3, Change winter clothing at our office ahead before it starts: Rovakatu 25, 96200 Rovaniemi OR our guide bring it to you if needed(Within 12km away from city center)
