After a safe landing at Kigali International Airport or from your place of residence in Kigali, you will be greeted by a Kigali City and a friendly driver guide who will take you to and from the Gorilla trek, home to the world's population of mountain gorillas. You start with city tour if time allows with visit at genocide memorial, later proceed to Uganda through katuna boarder or chanika border with breaks for lunch and refreshments. You'll arrive to the park just before dusk, enjoy a delectable dinner and then retire for the night. so you should keep your schedule and be well-rested.

Mountain gorilla trekking lasts from an hour to 8 hours depending on where the gorilla family will be spotted because they keep moving to look for food.
