You will learn of the legends around some of the most iconic locations in Winchester. You will get to know notable characters of kings, queens and bishops that work hard to give the city its hard earned reputation, such as King Alfred. This tour covers a wide range of historical events, walking through different sections of the city to get your to connect with its character and beautiful architecture inspired by prominent buildings like Winchester cathedral and the old castle.

Winchester Library now exhibiting a statue to Licoricia of Winchester one of the most important women in the history of this city. We will stop briefly and talk about her story.

One of the most spectacular Gothic cathedrals in England, we will talk about its humble origins in the Anglo Saxon period, to its full glory that you see today.

Winchester College (Pass by)
Part of the top 5 colleges in the UK. This is an iconic building in the city, and next to the house were Jane Austen died in Winchester.

3Wolvesey Castle
Now in ruins, this was once the palace for the bishop of Winchester, and the venue where Queen Mary and Phillip II of Spain had breakfast during their wedding.
