    We start our tour from Avenida Unidas and Calle Republica del Salvador, which is the main entrance to the Quicentro Shopping Center. It's very easy to find. This place is the financial heart of Quito where we will not only visit the park, we will also tour its surroundings that show us the most modern facet of the city.

    We will pedal to the picturesque neighborhood of La Mariscal, known for its lively nightlife and colorful markets. We will explore the mix of tradition and modernity that characterizes this neighborhood while admiring its early 20th century architecture.

    We begin our adventure in this square that is the heart of the centenary neighborhood of "La Mariscal", where we will have a welcome and technical talk. Then we began the tour of the neighborhood, delighting in its architecture belonging to the golden age of the Quito aristocracy at the beginning of the 20th century.

    Parque El Ejido

    We leave the "La Mariscal" neighborhood to get a little closer to the historic center of the city, after about 20 minutes we arrive at the Ejido park, full of history and heritage plants of Quito where the assassination of a president even occurred.

    A bohemian street in the center of Quito welcomes us with its festive atmosphere and spectacular views of the "Virgen del Panecillo"

    We begin to leave the historic center of Quito behind heading north along the old road to Cartagena and on this route we pass by the Sucre National Theater. From La Ronda street it will take us about 15 minutes by bicycle.

    We crossed through La Alameda park, which was the first garden in Quito, where for the first time plants totally unknown to Quiteños coming from other latitudes were planted, a space that also houses the astronomical observatory and other monuments.

    This site, somewhat unknown to tourists, offers us a very beautiful view of Quito and the Andes mountain range, with a little luck we can admire some volcanoes. It is also the place where the Spanish conquerors in the 16th century began their journey in search of the country of cinnamon. It will take us about 20 minutes to reach this viewpoint by bicycle.
