November 2nd is a deeply special day in Mexico, as families gather in cemeteries to bid farewell to the souls of their loved ones after having shared with them during the Day of the Dead holiday. It is a night full of cempasúchil flowers, music, aromas and candlelight, in which sadness becomes celebration and gratitude. This unique moment allows to accompany the deceased in their departure in the hope of meeting again next year, making this tradition a symbol of eternal love and connection between life and death.
We will meet in the Hotel Quinta Real Oaxaca, a former convent of the 16th century converted into a hotel, located in the heart of the historic center of the city. If you are not staying here, you can wait for us at the front entrance, next to the reception, and we will ask for you.
