We start by visiting this iconic museum, one of the most important in Mexico. Here you will learn about the history of the region from pre-Hispanic times to the present day and you will see archaeological treasures, including prominent pieces such as the objects of Tomb 7 of Monte Alban. It is a perfect place to take photos and immerse yourself in Oaxacan culture.

The next stop is the main square of the city, the vibrant heart of Oaxaca. Here you will see the imposing cathedral, sculptures, street artists, and a mixture of local traditions, colors and flavors. It is a space full of life where the essence of the city is breathed.

3Mercado Benito Juarez
This colorful market has more than 200 years of history. On your tour you can taste classic Oaxaca flavors such as chapulines, moles, mezcal, traditional sweets and much more. It is also an ideal opportunity to buy artisan souvenirs.

4Mercado 20 De Noviembre
We end up in the famous “smoke aisle”, a corridor full of grills where Oaxacan style roast meats are cooked. Here you can taste authentic local food (on behalf of the client) and feel the unique atmosphere of this traditional market.
