  Being an Okanagan boy with a fiendish work ethic and a love of wine, Don Bartier, with his wife Sheila and her brother and sister, planted Sheila’s family property in Summerland to grapes, making it the first of the Bartier Bros. While looking for a “real job”, Michael Bartier accepted casual work in a winery cellar. And, since he’s still in the cellar, you could say he hasn’t found a real job yet. We offer intimate wine tasting experiences surrounded by picturesque mountain views from our stunning vineyard. Our knowledgeable hosts will guide you through your tastings and share what makes Bartier Bros. so special.   The Rust Wine Company is a vineyard with deep roots and a passion for renewal. Their wines are crafted from five outstanding vineyards in the Okanagan and Similkameen Valleys, each reflecting the unique character of the land. Our home vineyard, South Rock, boasts a history dating back to 1963 and produces some of BC’s only Zinfandel, along with other fine varietals. The vineyard sits at the southern tip of the Golden Mile Bench, offering stunning views and a rich history, including a heritage house with a living desert roof. Founded in 2006 as Oliver Twist Estate Winery and rebranded in 2021, this female-owned gem was named the third best small winery in Canada by WineAlign in 2024. With three wine tiers—the playful Pin-Up Series, the classic Nostalgia Series, and the exclusive Family Collection—Nostalgia offers something for every palate, all from their 14.5 acres of vineyard.
