1Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress
Sigiriya Rock Fortress, located in central Sri Lanka, is an ancient royal citadel built in the 5th century by King Kashyapa. Rising 200 meters above the surrounding plains, the rock features stunning frescoes, the famous Mirror Wall, and impressive lion-paw entrance steps leading to the summit. At the top are the ruins of the king’s palace, offering panoramic views of the lush landscape. Often called the "Eighth Wonder of the World," Sigiriya is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a remarkable example of ancient urban planning, art, and engineering.

2Dambulla Cave Temple
The Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, is Sri Lanka’s largest and best-preserved cave temple complex. 3Golden Temple of Dambulla
The Dambulla Golden Temple, located at the base of the Dambulla Cave Temple complex, is a modern Buddhist temple known for its large golden Buddha statue seated in a meditation pose. Built in the early 2000s, the temple serves as the entrance to the historic cave complex above and features a museum dedicated to Buddhism. The striking golden statue, which stands about 30 meters tall, is one of the tallest in Sri Lanka and a popular photo spot. The temple symbolizes the deep spiritual significance of the area and complements the ancient heritage of the Dambulla caves.
