Seattle Uncovered Waterfront Walking Tour

1 hour 15 minutes (approximately)
Offered in: English

Most visitors will walk Seattle's waterfront and see a nice view. This tour shows you what's actually behind it.

From Pioneer Square — where the city literally started — along the newly rebuilt waterfront to the ferry terminal, we connect the dots between Seattle's past and the city you see today. Join with a local guide as they share the stories these streets don't tell on their own.

You'll learn why the city burned down and rebuilt itself in a year, how the waterfront went from industrial grit to public park, and what makes Seattle's relationship with the water unlike any other city in the country.

Small groups, big stories, and a walk you'll remember long after you leave. Please let us know ahead of time about any mobility restrictions. The tour includes roughly 1.5 miles of walking.
