Dawakun Desert, the nearest desert from Kashgar, is situated on the western fringe of Taklamakan Desert, about 130KM from Kashgar downtown in Xinjiang Province. This private day trip offers you an opportunity to explore the impressive Dawakun Desert from Kashgar by a charted vehicle. You will view the endless sand dunes, old multi-leaved trees, camels, and a lake near the desert in Dawakun, which is quite unique travel experience. At 9:30am Beijing time, you guide will meet you in your hotel lobby and take a private vehicle driving about 2 hours 160KM to Dawakun Desert. Dawakun Desert is the wester fringe of Taklamakan Desert, it is a great place to view the desert, the lake, and the old trees etc. The huge sand dunes extend one by one to make an impressive picture. Afterwards you will be transferred back your hotel where the trip concludes.
