Taking the phrase "Dive into history" to a whole new level, Dahabiya Nile Cruise offers a perfect demonstration for the old-schoolers, the people who want to literally explore history the ancient way. Our journey begins by visiting Cairo's most famous landmark, or more precisely, a wonder of the world, the Pyramids of Giza. We then fly to Aswan to continue our trip to the Dahabiya Nile Cruise, a ship that was used in the past to take the elite for an exploration of the Nile Valley. We are basically taking you to the past to experience a different but exquisite type of sailing, witness ancient temples and learn more about the chronicles of historical sites that can't be reached in a usual Nile Cruise. Dahabiya is your chance to explore a lot more, to explore everything from Luxor all the way to Aswan!

Enjoy a full day of historical sightseeing at the first-ever capital of ancient Egypt; Memphis, the graveyard of the kings and royals, Saqqara village
last but not least, a visit to the great Pyramids of Giza. We then have lunch and breakfast at a local restaurant.
On this day, we will visit some of Cairo's most significant historical and cultural sites. First, we will explore the Egyptian Museum, which has the largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities in the world and is the oldest archaeological museum in the Middle East.
Then, we will head to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, where the famous "Golden Parade" of Egyptian royal mummies was recently displayed.
Our day wouldn't be complete without a visit to Old Cairo, where we will visit the historical Religious Complex and see several mosques, churches, and Jewish temples.
After flying to Aswan, we will embark on the highlight of our trip, the Dahabiya ship. The next day, we will visit the magnificent Abu Simbel temples, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its stunning rock-cut temples and monumental statues. It will be an unforgettable full-day excursion that will give us a deeper insight into ancient Egyptian civilization. Afterward, we'll embark on our Dahabiyah ship.
The High Dam, located in Aswan, Egypt, is one of the largest dams in the world. It was constructed in the 1960s to control flooding along the Nile River and provide hydroelectric power to the region. The dam is an impressive engineering feat, stretching over 3 kilometers in length and standing over 110 meters tall.
Nearby, visitors can also see the Unfinished Obelisk, a massive stone monument that was abandoned during construction and now lies in a quarry.
Additionally, the Temple of Philae, located on an island in the Nile River, is a stunning example of ancient Egyptian architecture and art, featuring intricate carvings and colorful hieroglyphics.
Afterward, we will have lunch and then sail to Kom Ombo, where we will spend the night.

After exploring the temple, we will continue sailing to Edfu, where we will spend the rest of the day and night relaxing on the river. The calm and serene waters of the Nile will provide the perfect backdrop for a peaceful and rejuvenating evening, allowing us to soak in the beauty of the surroundings and reflect on the incredible experiences we have had on our journey so far.

we will continue our journey along the Nile and sail to Esna. As we cruise along the river, we can enjoy the serene scenery and the gentle breeze. At night, we will dock our Dahabiya ship near a charming Nile island, where we can relax and take in the peaceful surroundings.
Esna is a small town located on the west bank of the Nile. Its main attraction is the Temple of Khnum, which was built during the Ptolemaic period and is dedicated to the ram-headed god Khnum. The temple features well-preserved reliefs and inscriptions, making it a must-visit destination for history and archaeology enthusiasts.
After visiting the temple, we will pass through the lock and spend the night moored beside an island, enjoying the tranquil surroundings and the gentle lapping of the river against the boat.
We will sail to the land of antiquities, Luxor, and on the east bank of the Nile, we will visit some of the most iconic sites in Egypt. In the afternoon, we will visit the world-famous Temple of Karnak, known for its grandeur and impressive ancient architecture.
Finally, our tour would not be complete without a visit to the Temple of Luxor, a stunning temple dedicated to the king of the gods, Amun.
Our sailing trip comes to an end at Luxor as we fly back to Cairo and check in at our hotel.

On the final day in Egypt's capital, check out from your hotel and head back to Cairo Airport for your flight departure. We'll be waiting for your next trip with us!
