Begin your journey in Piazza Giuseppe Verdi, at the monumental Arco Marchesale, the ancient gateway that once protected the historic center of Polignano a Mare. Pass through its arch and step into a medieval seaside village shaped by history, culture, and the unique atmosphere of Puglia.
Continue to Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, the heart of the town, where you will find the Church of St.Mary Assunta, a refined example of Apulian Baroque. Nearby stands the Clock Palace, a historic building connected to the town’s medieval past.
The experience continues at the Bourbon Bridge, an elegant 19th-century structure offering a stunning view of Lama Monachile (Cala Porto) with its small beach set between high cliffs and turquoise waters.
The tour ends at the statue of Domenico Modugno: the bronze figure with arms open toward the sea, celebrates the famous song “Volare” and represents the musical and poetic soul of the town, loved worldwide. This will be followed by a tasting of Special coffee
