The contiguous counties of Philadelphia and Bucks form the diverse, historic region we’re calling The Order. In 1791, Philadelphia, then the nation’s capital, played host to the passage of the whiskey excise legislation. It’s also where a first-term President Washington issued a proclamation against the Whiskey Rebellion’s rebels. Little could anyone have envisioned then how amazing the region’s drinking scene would become today.
