Guaranteed Lapland Bear-Watching Evening Experience

You'll be picked up at your accommodation, or we'll meet at our agency for the departure. We'll drive about 3.5 hours to reach our location. Once we arrive at the activity location, we will go inside a log cabin in the woods, from where we'll be able to watch the kings of the Lappish forest, "the bears'. If you have a professional camera, you'll be able to make some amazing photos of the animals when they go play, fish by the river, or are around. This is the northernmost bear-watching place in Finland, where you can see the animals in their own natural habitat.

The northern position means that we have light throughout the summer. The bear-watching season starts on May 1 and continues until the end of September. Each summer we get a mother bear with cubs visiting the "Bear Pond.", There is a small pond in the area where the bears like to bathe. There can be more than a dozen different individuals visiting this pond during the night. Our guides will tell you about the visiting bears as well as other facts about brown bears. You will get an experience that will make you feel part of Finnish nature!
