Mysuru Palace
In the afternoon, visit the world-famous Mysore Palace, the residence of the Wadiyar dynasty. Originally built in the 14th century, the palace was reconstructed several times, with the present structure completed between 1897 and 1912 under Maharaja Krishnaraja Wadiyar IV. Designed by British architect Lord Henry Irwin, the palace is a magnificent blend of Indo-Saracenic style, incorporating Hindu, Muslim, Rajput, and Gothic influences.
