The Carmo Convent was destroyed during the big earthquake of 1755. in this stop you will be able to see the ruins of the convent as well as do a quick visit to the Santa Just Lift next door to the convent.
Bairro Alto is a 16th century neighbourhood created to house everyone working on the Portuguese Maritime Discoveries.
From this viewpoint you can see the downtown of Lisbon with the castle sitting on top.
