A journey of memory through the geographical and political heart of Latin America. The Che Guevara Route is more than a tour; it is a historical pilgrimage through the rugged Bolivian Eastern Range where Commander Ernesto Guevara and the Ñancahuazú Guerrilla wrote one of the 20th century's most significant chapters.
Over three intense days, we will travel from the plains of Santa Cruz de la Sierra up into the deep valleys of Samaipata, Vallegrande, and La Higuera. We will walk through the Quebrada del Churo, visit the historic laundry site and the small schoolhouse that witnessed his final moments, and pay tribute to the ideals of social justice and international solidarity on the 60th Anniversary of his legacy. This special event will take place on October 7, 8, and 9, 2027.

Hotel Pickup: We offer complimentary pickup from hotels located within the designated central/urban area (in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, between the 1st and 4th Ring Roads; in the central area of Vallegrande). Please provide the name and address of your accommodation when confirming your reservation.
We will be waiting for you at the meeting point to depart for our tour in honor of Che Guevara.

1La Higuera
We begin our tour very early (7:00 am) by moving from the city of Santa Cruz in private transportation to the city of Vallegrande (2030 masl), a city that is internationally recognized as a historic space that allows us to relive. The CHE GUEVARA in our country. After a delicious lunch, we set out to visit the historic community of La Higuera, on our arrival a photographic tour of the community awaits us and an excellent dinner at the historic Casa del Telegrafista, a warm round of fog and a wine to taste.

2La Higuera
We leave at 7 in the morning to make the tour of the Abra del Picacho an area that will allow you to take excellent panoramic photographs of La Higuera and the Rio Grande. We make a walk to the Abra del Batán, the Quebrada del Churo, historic sites of the RUTA DEL CHE GUEVARA. These areas were the places where Che's guerrillas fought their last battles, they are areas of difficult access with mountainous areas and semi-high forests. We also visited the school of La Higuera, where Che died. In the afternoon we will do our homage to Cmdte, with a floral offering in the little school of La Higuera.

3Samaipata
After a well-deserved rest and a generous breakfast. We will make a tour around Samaipata, we will make a remembrance of its historical importance, since it was the only town in Bolivia that was taken for a few hours by the guerrilla of Che Guevara in 1967. After we will visit the Fort of Samaipata and the waterfalls of Cuevas, then we will return to our starting point in the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra. End of our services.
