    Salisbury Cathedral and Magna Carta

    See the hilltop fortress 'Old Sarum' that many different cultures once settled. Visit the charming & historic English village of 'New Sarum' that flourished around the confluence of rivers & the 'Pillars of the Earth' surrounding the cathedral. The cathedral close is a lovely place to view the famous spires & Gothic architecture as well as the nearby gardens & museum. Inside the cathedral itself are many treasures including the best surviving version of the Magna Carta & memorials to knights & saints.

    This is the most epic & iconic destination a traveller can experience when on Earth. Its also a place your TFL licensed driver~guide loves to show his love & enthusiasm for. You will pass some heavenly scenery & 'fields of gold' on your short 30 minute drive here from Salisbury. On arrival you will have time for some light refreshment and to explore the excellent Stonehenge museum & exhibition. With your experienced guide you can take a short 5 minute shuttle or longer 25 minute walk to the stone circle. Here you will have plenty of time to discuss how it was created & for what purposes as well as take some monumental photos.
