Mattupetty Dam
Mattupetty Dam, near Munnar in Idukki District, is a storage Concrete Gravity dam built in the mountains of Kerala, India to conserve water for hydroelectricity. The most attractive part of Mattupetty dam is its still water which reflects the tea garden around. You can engage yourself with water sport activities like speed boating organized by district Tourism Promotion Council of Idukki (Munnar) and enjoy the pretty natural surroundings of this beautiful dam.

Echo Point
Echo point is a scenic destination located in Munnar. It got its name from the natural echo phenomenon here.

Kundala Dam Lake
This spectacular spot is about 8 km away from Echo Point. Apart from a panoramic view of the lake, you can experience the mesmerising views of the tea plantations on the slopes around. The place is also known to host blooming Cherry Blossom flowers and Neelakurinji flowers. Boating in Kundala Lake too is an experience worth trying. Pedal boats, Kashmiri shikaras, and rowboats are available for hire.

Munnar to Thekkady by Road

Today morning, following your breakfast at the Munnar hotel/resort, pack your bags and check-out from the hotel/resort. Hereafter, you will be driven towards the gorgeous Thekkady town, where you can indulge in an array of activities for the rest of the day. Following your arrival in the town, settle down in a hotel/resort and relax for a while. Post this, embark on a rustic tour to one of the tribal hamlets in Thekkady followed by a plantation tour.
