    Tarangire National Park

Today after breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel and you  will drive to the Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive. Tarangire is one of Africa’s little-known gems and should be on the itinerary of all lovers of wilderness and solitude. Its name originates from the Tarangire River that crosses through the park and is the only source of water during the dry season. Tarangire National Park is a huge park best known for its large herds of elephants -- but it is also great for lion and leopard -- wonderful for bird life -- great variety of landscape and wildlife. The gorgeous Silale Swamp, towards the south of the park, is magnificent -- and almost always rich in wildlife taking advantage of this reliable water source. The park provides water not only from the swamp, but also from the Tarangire River -- and during the dry season it is the primary source of water for animals from the entire area, making for fantastic viewing

Today you after breakfast you will drive to the famous Serengeti. The drive takes about 3 to hours (game on route) The Serengeti is actually enormous approximately the size of Switzerland — so most people on safari, depending on the month, will visit the central (Seronera) area plus one other area either the north in the dry season for the Mara crossings or the west during the green season for the migration herds spread out from the central area to around the Grumeti River, or Ndutu in the “bridge” season between the “short rains” of November/December .The central Serengeti boast those spectacular “endless plains,” dotted with acacia trees and the occasional rocky kopjes — What is special about Central Serengeti is the wide open spaces, driving through the miles and miles of animals as far as the eye can see, riverine forest and leopard. There is nice chance of seeing leopard along the river valleys also the wildebeest spread over a large area

    Lake Manyara National Park

This is another lovely park that you will visit today, lying roughly between Tarangire and the Ngorongoro Crater. It boasts a beautiful little groundwater forest — the only real forest in Tanzania — where you can spot the adorable Blue Monkeys (also sometimes found on the Crater rim) — lots of giraffe, elephants, lion, leopard — and a very pretty lake dusted pink in the distance with flamingos — The entrance to Lake Manyara is in the village of Mto wa Mbu, where you can arrange for a full village visit — and/or a visit to a local school (the kids are wonderful!). Many lodges in this are nearby coffee plantations, and most will also provide tours. At harvest time you’ll see women walking along the roads with massive bags of coffee beans balanced alarmingly on their heads In the late afternoon you will return to Arusha
