Crossing the entrance gate, you will be immersed in a journey that blends medieval architecture, military history and Renaissance charm. The interior rooms, carefully curated, tell the story of life within the fortress. From the ramparts, the view stretches across the surrounding hills, offering landscapes filled with nature and echoes of ancient memories. You can choose to visit the fortress at your own pace or, for a more evocative experience, to join a guided candlelight tour. In a more intimate atmosphere, where the darkness of the night is broken by the flicker of torches, you will have the opportunity to hear stories about passions and pivotal moments of Caterina Sforza’s life - a figure who left an indelible mark on the history of Romagna.
