Pack appropriately for the day’s adventures, arriving in Akosombo by 8:30 AM. *Start your adventure with a scenic hike that takes you to the banks of the Volta River, where a variety of thrilling activities await. Get ready for some action with paintballing, followed by an exhilarating abseil down the 100-ft Vulcan Rock. Cap off the day with a 4km kayaking experience on the beautiful Volta River. *After an exciting day, arrive at your hotel to refresh and unwind.

Depart mid-morning for the lush Volta Region, where you can immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of the Ewe tribe. *Arrive at the Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary, a traditional sacred grove that conserves the playful Mona monkeys in their natural tropical forest habitat. Next, visit the nearby Tafi Abuife Kente Village to witness the artistry of Ewe-style Kente cloth. Experience the Kente-making process firsthand, and browse a variety of styles if you wish to make a purchase. *Continue your journey to Wli Waterfalls, the highest waterfall in West Africa, locally known as Agoomatsa, meaning "Allow Me to Flow." *Begin your day with a peaceful hike through the tropical forest leading to Wli Waterfalls. Choose between a challenging hike to the upper falls or a refreshing morning swim at the lower falls before departing for the Volta River. *If you're up for an adventure, continue your journey to Mount Afadja for a more strenuous hike to West Africa’s highest peak. This rewarding trek offers stunning views and embodies the saying in Ghana: “If you can conquer Mount Afadja, then you can conquer the world.” *Travel to a women’s pottery cooperative in Kpando, nestled within lush forests, to observe the production of traditional African ceramic goods. Visit Mount Afadja if you are ready for a more draining hike to West Africa’s highest peak. This hike is a rewarding one as you get to arrive at such a beautiful view and as they say in Ghana “If you can conquer Mount Afadja, then you can conquer the world”.

Enjoy a swim or simply unwind in this serene setting. *Depart for the Ashanti Kingdom, stopping at Adanwomase, the home of authentic Ghanaian Kente. Witness the intricate process of Kente weaving firsthand. For an additional fee, you can participate in a traditional Naming Ceremony at the Chief’s palace, complete with vibrant drumming and dancing, while adorned in Kente. Continue your journey to Ntonso village for an engaging Adinkra stamping activity. Create your own textile strip by stamping various Adinkra symbols, each carrying its own meaning. Carefully choose your designs, as this personalized piece will be yours to keep. *End your day at the carving shops in Ahwiaa, where you can admire exquisite wooden sculptures and traditional crafts. After a day filled with cultural experiences, arrive at your hotel in Kumasi for a restful evening.

*Begin your day with a visit to Manhyia Palace, the official residence of the Ashanti King, where you can delve into the rich history and vibrant culture of the Ashanti Kingdom. *Continue your journey to the National Cultural Center, one of Ghana’s premier museums. During your visit, stop to admire the mystic Komfo Anokye sword, an important symbol of Ashanti heritage. *Conclude your day with a trip to Lake Bosumtwi, Africa’s largest meteorite impact lake. Enjoy a canoe ride with a local guide and take advantage of the option for a horse ride to further explore the scenic surroundings of the lake.

Just a 5-minute walk from Kejetia Market, visit this vibrant area filled with shops showcasing handmade crafts. You'll be warmly welcomed as you browse a variety of unique artisanal products available for purchase, perfect for souvenirs or gifts.
*Start your day with a coastal journey to the historic town of Cape Coast. Your first stop will be at Assin Manso Slave River, a significant site that once served as a slave cemetery and market. *Next, visit Cape Coast Castle, a former slave dungeon steeped in history relevant to the African Diaspora. For an additional fee, you can participate in a "Door of Return" ceremony, symbolizing your return to the motherland after the slave trade. *In the evening, enjoy a vibrant cultural performance (available for an extra fee) that celebrates your journey back to Ghana. Feel free to join in the dancing and drumming on stage as the festivities unfold.
Assin Manso Slave River, the former slave cemetery and market. You will get to see how slaves were bathed before being shipped to the castles to wait to be shipped. This trip leads you through the slavery path.
*Start your day with a visit to Kakum National Park, Ghana’s most popular attraction, renowned for its lush tropical forests and exhilarating canopy walkway experience. This park is also one of the best birdwatching sites in Ghana, so be sure to bring your binoculars to spot various bird species. *Next, head to the vibrant fishing village of Elmina, where you can admire the colorful fishing boats lining the port. Enjoy a walking tour of this historically rich area, with stops at the smaller Fort San Jago and a view of the iconic Elmina Castle (please note that there is an additional fee for the castle tour). *After a day of exploration, return to your beautiful beach to refresh and unwind, spending the rest of your day relaxing by the beach.

Immerse yourself in the local culture and observe the traditional fishing practices. For an additional fee, you can also take a tour of the historic Elmina Castle, exploring its rich history and significance.
*Begin your day with a peaceful morning at your hotel, reflecting on your journey thus far. Prepare for your return to Accra, the capital city of Ghana. *On your way, stop at Mankessim to explore one of the few remaining Posuban shrines in the region, a unique cultural landmark rich in history. *Continue your coastal drive, aiming to arrive in Accra before dark. Take the opportunity for some last-minute shopping and say your goodbyes to the friends you’ve made during your stay. Finally, you’ll be dropped off at the airport two hours before your flight time for a smooth departure.
