Join us on a 4-hour royal walk through Central London. Our story begins in front of the Soho House at Dean Street, where Harry and Meghan went on their first official date in 2016. Our Expert Guide will share all the known facts and rumors surrounding the beginning of their relationship and how they used this royal hideaway to avoid the paparazzi.
We’ll walk through the heart of Piccadilly, home to one of London's principal shopping streets, several noted societies, and elite gentlemen's clubs whose elite members include people of the royal descent. We’ll pass the headquarters of BAFTA, whose list of presidents includes Philip, the late husband of Queen Elizabeth II, Anne The Princess Royal, and Harry’s brother WIlliam The Prince of Wales. We’ll also see the Royal Academy of Art, where QEII and other royals attended exhibitions.
Another place of interest will be Fortnum & Mason, a 18th-century department store that created a new tea blend to celebrate Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Royal Wedding, and which could be the location of a supermarket where the pair met in secret, as described in the book Finding Freedom. We’ll also see Ritz London - a site of many infamous love affairs involving British and international aristocrats, and of the first public appearance of King Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles.
