Visit Château de Chantilly. This attraction consists of the Petit Château built around 1560 for Anne de Montmorency and the Grand Château, which was destroyed during the French Revolution but was then rebuilt by the cousin of Louis XIV Henri d'Orlean. You will be surprised by its unique architecture and layout, as well as its hidden treasures. We provide skip-the-line tickets so you won't have to wait in long queues with other tourists.
Inside, you will find luxurious state apartments decorated with expensive furnishings and antiques. This includes a large collection of antique paintings of Musée Condé, with rare works by Botticelli, Poussin, Delacroix and the great Raphael: The Three Graces, The Madonna of the House of Orleans, and Madonna of Loreto. There is also a fantastic library which holds over 60,000 volumes with manuscripts and printed documents dating from as early as the 11th century.
Your Private Guide will also show you around the fabulous Western Garden, featuring the French flower garden, the Anglo-Chinese garden, and the English garden. Another highlight are the 18th century Great Stables, which are thought to be the largest horse stables in Europe, housing the Musée du Cheval (Horse Museum) with over 200 items and art works dedicated to the equestrian world. If you're lucky, you might get to enjoy the daily equestrian demonstrations.
