Another point of interest will be the Basilica di Sant’Ambrogio, which is one of the oldest churches in Milan. Its construction lasted from the 4th to the 11th century, and many original mosaics and artworks can still be admired today.
See this historic Romanesque church inside and out and hear the legend of its patron saint, St Ambrose. You will also visit the Basilica di Santa Maria delle Grazie, which is best known for the mural of ‘The Last Supper’ by Leonardo da Vinci. Although tickets to see ‘The Last Supper’ are not included in the itinerary, you will still be amazed by what this 15th century Gothic church has to offer.
