The Namazgah Mosque (also known as the Great Mosque of Tirana) is the largest mosque in the Balkans and a striking new addition to the city's skyline. After decades of planning and ten years of construction, it was officially inaugurated on October 10, 2024.It stands as a symbol of Albania’s religious harmony, located just a few hundred meters from both the main Catholic and Orthodox cathedrals.

The Tirana Castle (Kalaja e Tiranës), historically known as the Fortress of Justinian, is one of the few remaining remnants of the city’s Byzantine and Ottoman past. Today, it has been beautifully revitalized into a vibrant "pedestrian bazaar"—a sophisticated mix of historical ruins, upscale dining, and local artisan shops.

The Et'hem Bej Mosque is arguably the most precious architectural jewel in Tirana. While the new Namazgah Mosque (The Great Mosque) is famous for its massive scale, Et'hem Bej is beloved for its intimate beauty, historical survival, and rare artwork. It is one of the few buildings in Tirana to have survived the "atheist campaign" of the 1960s, during which many churches and mosques were destroyed.

Skanderbeg Square (Sheshi Skënderbeu) is the beating heart of Tirana and the definitive starting point for any visit to Albania. It is a vast, 40,000-square-meter pedestrian plaza that serves as the city’s social, cultural, and political crossroads. The square was majorly renovated in 2017, winning several international awards for its sustainable and "people-first" design.
