1Cabo da Roca
Located at latitude 38º 47´north and longitude 9º 30´west, Cabo da Roca is an important coordinate for those sailing along the coast, as it is the most westerly point of mainland Europe, a fact borne out by the certificates that visitors take away as a souvenir. Around 150 metres above the sea, here you can have a panoramic view over the Serra de Sintra and the coast, which makes it worth the visit. And even better when the sun us setting.

A pause for a coffee at the cafe at the top of the dunes allows you to soak in the amazing view of dunes meeting sea meeting mountains as the sun continues to set. Then take a stroll through the dunes to Guincho beach for your strawberries and bubbly.

3Guincho Beach
Praia Grande do Guincho is located between two rocky points, the high point and the tip of the flap, it has a large stretch of sand, both in length and in width. With clear and crystalline water, Praia Grande do Guincho is considered one of the largest beaches in the country, with a high influx of vacationers, and is part of the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park. It is also sought after by practitioners of Surf, Windsurf and Kite surf, where world championships of these same sports are held. Just one of many places to watch the setting sun.
