Pickup is by camel, not by 4x4 vehicle. You must reach our camp by yourself. If you travel with a small car, an additional 4x4 transfer is required. The 4x4 transfer costs 230 euros for both ways

If you arrive by rental car, bus, or taxi, the meeting point is in front of the CTM Bus Station in M'Hamid

If you would like to book our 4x4 transfer service, we will meet you in M'Hamid and take care of your journey to the camp through the desert tracks.

If you prefer to drive by yourself, we will send you the GPS location of the camp after your booking confirmation. Please note that the camp is located in a remote wild desert area, and the Road is not easy to navigate, especially for guests without desert driving experience.

For this reason, we highly recommend booking our professional desert driver service to ensure a safe and comfortable journey. The desert around Erg Chegaga is peaceful, untouched, and perfect for relaxation and meditation far away from busy tourist areas

    Enjoy an unforgettable 4x4 Safari and a night in the dunes of Erg Chegaga! You will be picked up in your accommodation in the area of M'hamid and the villages around or at the meeting point in the late afternoon and we will bring you with a private 4x4 transfer over a piste through the desert to the meeting point with the camels. Get on your friendly camel and walk through the dunes at a desert pace. The camel ride takes around 1 h and it is possible to make a stop at a big dune to take pictures and marvel at the sunset (depending on the season). After arrival with the camels at your luxury desert camp, you'll be greeted with an original Berber mint tea. Welcome to enjoy and relax! Enjoy your evening dining in a berber tent, look for shooting stars at the camp fire and sleep in a luxury nomad tent with bathroom! The next morning, wake up by the first strays of light to watch the sunrise over the Sahara before you enjoy your typical breakfast in the camp. Enjoy some Sandboarding if you like to, go camel riding again or just take some more pictures of the beautiful landscape in early morning light. After enjoying the sunrise at the top of the sand dunes, you’ll have your breakfast in the desert camp before the journey with the 4x4 car back to your meeting point or accommodation in Ouled Driss or M'hamid starts.
