We are a 2 guide team, Archie & Petura. The tour starts at Parliament square, next to Queen Victoria's statue, which is behind the cruise terminal.
Your tour has two options, one with lunch and one without but every tour comes with a surprise seafood snack. The tour begin with an introduction to Bahamian British colonial history, current government system and more.
Our next stop with be Christ Church Cathedral the national church.
Afterward is Government House which is the highest state building and then on to Graycliff Resort which is an historic luxury boutique hotel where you will sample house made chocolates, wine and see cigars hand rolled in the factory.
Next is John Watling Distillery which makes local rum. There lunch consists of jerk chicken or conch (seafood), peas n rice, Bahamian mac n' cheese, plantains or cole slaw.
Tasty Teas is the last stop before heading back.
We meet a Parliament Square next to Queen Victoria's statue which is directly across from the Cruise Ship terminal exit. Guide will have sign with company logo.

A stop at the Supreme Court of the Bahamas where guests will learn about the Bahamas legal system.
A stop at the historic public library built in 1795 as is the oldest building in Parliament Square. It served as the first public jail when first built and has an octagon shape. The shape was inspired by architecture brought over the The Bahamas by American Loyalists who left America and came to The Bahamas when the Revolutionary war broke out.
A stop at the Garden of Remembrance which is a monument to the soldiers who died in WW1 and WW2 who came from The Bahamas. Every year on Remembrance Day we celebrate the lives of our soldiers in an elaborate ceremony and parade.
A brief stop in front of the world famous Straw Market where guests will get an education in the history and the purpose of the market. The straw market is an artisan market and guests can find authentic handmade Bahamian goods like baskets, hand bags, hats, woodwork (statues) and jewelry made from natural materials like conch shells and more. If guests would like to explore the market more and length for souvenirs, your guide will politely escort you there at the end of the tour.
I stop at the historic landmark which is the national church of the Bahamas where public officials are funeralized. Also, you will go inside the church and see the royal bench which is roped off where only a royal like King Charles or Queen Camilla can sit if they are visiting from England.
We will pass by the Government house of The Bahamas which is the state house similar to the White House in America. Standing since 1737 we will discuss Christopher Columbus's historic landing in The Bahamas and more.
Our tour continues at the world famous Graycliff Resort which was built around the mansion of Capt, Graysmith who was a pirate who travelled the Bahamian waters during his life. Here we will discuss piracy in The Bahamas also have wine tasting, chocolate tasting and also visit the cigar company all at this location. See cigars made live in front of you and the cigar company.
John Watling's Distillery is named after the pirate John Watling who made a stop in The Bahamas during his years of piracy in the Caribbean and Latin America. The distillery makes a wonderful product of aged rum which is aged for either 2, 3, 5 or 6 years in old Jack Daniels Whiskey Barrels. At the distillery our guests will enjoy a tour of the facility and also receive a free sample upon entering. At the end of the tour of the distillery our guests will have the chance to purchase a mixed drink or purchase their very own bottle of aged rum to take home and enjoy.
We visit Tasty Teas Bahamas which is an holistic herbal tea shop which specializes in Bahamas traditional healing with teas made locally from unique trees found in the islands.
15 minute walk back to Downtown area passing landmarks such as the world famous Straw market.
