After a scenic flight from Zanzibar, travelers arrive in Nyerere National Park, one of Africa’s largest and most untouched wildlife areas. Day 1 begins with a game drive through vast open plains, riverine forests, and beautiful savannah landscapes. During the safari, guests have the chance to see large herds of elephants, which are commonly found near rivers and open areas. Lions may be spotted resting under trees or moving through the grasslands, while giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest, and antelopes roam freely across the park. On Day 2, travelers enjoy a scenic boat safari along the Rufiji River, observing a variety of wildlife in their natural habitat. Guests may see hippos lounging in the water, crocodiles along the riverbanks, and elephants or buffaloes coming to drink. The lush riverine vegetation attracts numerous bird species, including kingfishers, storks, and herons, making it a paradise for birdwatchers. After the boat safari, guests visit a nearby Maasai village, where they experience traditional Maasai culture firsthand.
